lvl42 sos stuff insane prices
what with the insane price jump..~1-2mil for 16 (not bad)...~3-5 mil for 24(still ok)....8-13mil for lvl 32...(ok what's going on)....20-up for lvl 42 (FTW??). Like can people suddenly afford sos br15 shields for 20mil..who would pay that amount.

yeah it's crazy. I won't be able to afford a lvl 42 SOS sword. I have 10mil and my lvl 32 SOS sword and that probably still won't be enough. I will end up selling my SOS shield and buying a non SOS shield to take it's place. I'll just get one with a high BR and play with that. what else can you do
.
If it isn't broke, mess with it till it is.

supply and demand.......
there are less 42 sos than 32 sos, people want sos at 42 more than they did at 32 = prices go up until only the people who can afford the prices get sos (or well some people buy gold to obtain it and that makes the problem worse but that's a different story....)

yeah but I think he is talking about the price suddenly increasing. I am pretty sure SOSs are not going anywhere ppl are not dumb enought to let it break unless it is throught alchemy. If some one destroys a lvl 42 br15+ sosun sheild then they must have down syndrome or something

well...i havent got all day but...most people think jus cos its got SOS strapped to it that it must be worth a fortune. A serious amount of people on SRO have no idea about stats, i paid quite a lot for my 42+3 SOS blade, but that had crit 11, 70% phy re-inforce to name a few....and then paid pretty much the same for my 42+5 SOS sheild Br17 and has very good % and blues. I added a few blues on these items but they was worth spending the gold to begin with!
problem is there is no benchmark for prices on SRO with varying economies across the servers, and unless u get lucky with some drops, are astute with buying and selling and generally clever and switched on...u aint ever buying good kit!

the prices don't dsound too inflated, sounds normal. Keep in mind alot of the buyers have higher level characters already. They want SOS to level faster (or grind SP faster), and they can afford it.
When I made my second character I used SOS weapons through 52, it made a difference, but they certainly weren't a requirement or an entitlement.

People have worked together over time to unknowingly pump prices to a rediculous amount becausse some servers have been around a long time and also becasue everyone thinks high lvls will easily buy there overpriced crap.
about 5 months ago on oasis. i bought lvl 32+3 sos spear for 7 mil. that was average price. now you wont find for less than wat.. 14 mil. And people actually laugh at you when you ask them wtf they are doing trying to sell things so high. They all say the same thing. "go trade and make stones . i made 10 mil in 1 week" Its all bullshit
