Fast spawning higher level mobs

im a nuker @ Lv54 w/ a 9gap and im currently farming at penon fighters, sometimes penon warriors... getting 2K SP ~ 2.3K SP in one 3-hour GT session (no lag of course)

i could go for another 7weeks like this (its only been a week+) and save enough SP for Lv68 masteries (for 3 trees--fire/light/bicheon) but i might go crazy so i was wondering...

are there similar high density fast spawning mobs up the higher levels? like those in caves...or perhaps in taklamakan... please compare it to the penons in karakoram.. i still want to get 2K SP / 3hr GT or perhaps higher.... take into consideration that the most i can afford is a sos64+5 sword (im using a sos52+5 sword right now)

what level are those mobs?
what level should i be to efficiently farm them?
what other farming players should i expect in that area? (in penons, the botters are okay, i can outshoot (shoot first) if i can't outdamage them)

in 5 days i'll have enough SP to put 2 trees to 50 and the 3 other trees to 58... so i might just do that and i want to know my options when and where i could farm next

please don't flame (for whatever reason), i have no idea of the higher mobs so i'm asking ONLY those with PRIOR first-hand experience or from those with farming friends.

Yetis and Devil Yetis spawn fast(lvl 59 and 60). As well as Edimmu and Shakram(lvl 63 and 61) in Takla. Then there is always the caves. But beware, lvl 60 is the lowest mob and BOTS are all over them. Hope it helps.

Get a decent set of garments and zombie immune accessories and head to the last room in the caves at about 66-68 (maybe even after you get your 64 sos+5, i havent gotten an int char that high). The nachals shouldnt do very much at all to you being int with garments.

Nachals.. nachals.. more nachals.

Get zombie and electric immune and you're good to go.
Also make sure to wear full garment.

would sos 8D protectors suffice for 8D garments?
until today i thought caves are all pure physical :D

to sum it up, i should get Lv50/51 masteries if i wanna farm at yetis
OR
i should get Lv60 masteries if i wanna farm at nachals, right?

60 aint bad idea, ill get the SP w/in 2weeks anyway and the best part is, i'll have book3 fire nuke ^_^

thanks for ur inputs guys, i really needed ur opinions on this, can't imagine messing it up w/ just trail&error... :)

farming in caves is bad

- its small
- its crowded
- if its crowded you hve no chance of grinding

You are lvl 54 and a NUKER, so i would go planar, sonar because they are magic mobs which would be advantage for you.

and 8degree sos protector will be way better than 8degree normal garmet.

Have you tried planars? I went there about your level and I got more sp and also they hit me for less because they use magical attacks. If you can get a planar/warrior mob you get the high exp/sp from planar an drop rate from warrios.

Dont forget to have Ice, Or maybe spear with those three.

Yes/no Its best if you can to farm on the ice less bots. yetis are nice, worms are better. At 63 you should do the power earth ghost quests for sure. I had a level 60 +5 sword and can kill them in 2 hits. If you goto the second room of them you can dominate one side of it. recently there hasnt been to many people in there with me. they spawn at a very nice rate. You have to watch out for multible giant spawns as a nuker. The room is small its hard to get away.

I found it helps a lot to get all masteries at the same level. from 52 to 62 i leveled with a five level gap getting around 5k sp per level being able to be fully farmed at that lv. ie: 62 fully farmed 57 masteries. If you do level your skills up to level a bit fater an get onto higher levels mobs to farm more keep a 5 gap atleast. You level once a week w/ a gt an 3hrs of grinding.

57 would be best. You said you can get a sos +5 sword. At 66 you would have a 9 gap and can kill them easy. I have 57 mastery an i went to kill nachols at 63-64 and i can 2 hit them at that level( They hurt just a bit.)

As your a nuker you could farm on nachals later on, and make alot of SP.

Depending on your server, The cave can be a wonderful place to farm.

Target monster: Power/Strong Earth Ghost
Level: Any level you can 1 hit them

Some rooms will allow you to grind very efficiently. Because they are mostly small rooms, and even the large rooms have dense spawn rate, you should be able to kill extremely fast as a nuker.

I'd recommend farming them when they're white - Green. So perhaps lvl 66 - 67, without an sox weapon. Even 68 with the new 68 weapon should be fine.

Although if you run out of patience only one week into farming, you may want to consider giving up on farming. It'll seem slow no matter how fast the spawn is.

the thing i prefer with penons is they run to me so i can mob 4-8 easy. yea i can mob warriors too but they don't go close enough so that when my fire2 and light1 are cooling down, my KD2 won't hit 3 at best. just those who happen to be beside me. i tried to replace KD2 with shout or sword dance when i see a KD2 won't hit 3 but it isn't as efficient. i DO get more exp/sp at warrrior though.

planars i haven't tried to mob coz they attack from much further than warriors. and its worse with sonars.

everything is at 45 for the 5 trees now. i plan to only put ice and spear at 50.

im not runnin out of patience. im just bored bcoz prior to GT 9gap at penons, i had been there since Lv48 w/o GT on a 3-5gap. the ice lake that was once a mystery looks so, well... boring.

i was able to endure 2months 9gap for just 1 level (9gap at small bunwangs at Lv39). i started the farm as soon as i can 2-hit a small bunwang using only a 38+3 spear (it had higher ave dmg than my 38+5 spear), before the hotan green backdrop of the bunwangs area, i was a few months spending grinds at the lifeless desert around heumakdan den. the wonderful view of hotan was a relief after all that desert.

if only they had a better "season" change in-game. and maybe a few more weather effects, the same place couldn't as boring as i found it to be :)

i was hoping there could exist a storm/typhoon of some sort. very near visibility, crappy mini-map during the said storm.... sometimes a fog... well, imma make another post about this.... perhaps the attention it could generate is enough to turn some heads from JM...

(ok let's keep the thread back to the topic, and hope another weather-thread spawns for weather-posts hehehe)

thanks guys for ur inputs
i think ill try yetis/worms using perhaps 50-53 masteries first then again the EGS and then the nachals....
