leaving a guild

So Im just started and some guy came up to me and I thought he wanted to party but it was a guild request and I joind by accident. I know to hit "U" to bring up my guild page but when I click the widraw button it doesnt work. Please help

Go to the guild npc in town and leave from there. Withdrawing from the guild menu is just to ability to kick out other players if you have the power.

There are 2 options actually.

1) Ask someone with the ability to kick you (if you are online when kicked you will have a 3 days penalty), however if you are offline when he/she kick you no penalty days so you can join an other.

2) You can go to a guild agent (available in all the towns) and get out of the guild like that, which also results in a 3 days penalty. (not able to join any other guild)
