I'm a n00b. I've been playing for about a month and have a 27 char pacheon on redsea. I would like to start a character in pacifica, but i want to know what I'm doing.

First, what is tank, mob, and what does it mean when you say for passive?

On my new char i want to use spear, i had a bow and a blader, and spear sounds good from reading these forums. I want to use ice, but lighting and fire sound important. I liek being able to slow down enemies though. Hows this sound, what should i go with?

Also, is deleveling vital? I find it t be a waste of time. Your gonna get SP wheter you spend your time leveling up from any lvl. Do you get it easier on a lower lvl or something?

Help. :banghead:

And what is the best weapon? I know that question can't really be answered, but humor me.

Tank - Mainly str. bladers, they can take tons of damage and still survive. Other pure str. builds could also be called tanks.

Mob- another word for a monster

Passiv - the last skill in every skill tree, it doesnt need to be activated and is allways in effect.

Deleveling pretty much is only needed if you sp farm at level 16 at the bandit den.

Mob ->
Short for a "Mobile Object". The term commonly used in MUDs and MMORPGs. Denotes a non-playable character that is usually attackable and often a monster of some sort.

Tank ->
A player-character, typically in a MMORPG, that is able to occupy an agressor and take the brunt of the aggressor's attacks while the other players deal damage, heal, or perform some other action. The "tank" can survive longer while taking damage than the other characters. Typically, the tank has higher hitpoints (health) and a higher armor rating than the other characters. Less commonly, a character with a lower armor rating can perform the actions of the tank by using avoidance abilities. Ultimately, the tank needs to be able to occupy the agressor without dying. The method employed, whether avoidance or absorption, does not matter, as long as the tank can mitigate damage in some way.

And there is no best weapon.
It all depends what do you like and which build are you..
But
Spear/Sword -> Int /Hybrid Int /1:1 Hybrid
Glaive/Blade/Bow -> Str
Bow -> Str /1:1 Hybrid

Don't ever try making Hybrid STR

well spear is good, u can go either hybrid int or pure int with spear, either way u will be able to deal massive damage to ur enemies, you can level faster than any other build, although u wont be pwnz0rs at PVP >.>

i suggest u take
HEKUSAI
FIRE
LIGHT
>>>>>

ice is not that useful, since ur opponents can become immune to it, and it has a very low dmg, of course u can take it if u want, it does give u a nice physical defense bluff

Nuke: One of the three lvl30 magic skills you get from Frost,Fire,Or light. These skills are usually used by pure ints or hybrid ints and they are able to put up big numbers.

How about my characther points. I try to keep them even, but should i focus on int or str? I want to mainly use magic, but is it good to put them all on int?

Well if you want to mainly use magic then either pure int OR hybrid int pure int will do the most damage but lacks survivability because of low hp
On the other hand hybrid int does nice damage to BUT does not do as much damage as a pure int would the build also has good survivability making it a very good pvp build
