Breaking Down Gear

How do you break down gear into elements?

buy destroyer rondo, and pput it in the alchemy window with item, and you will get random elements up to the degree of the weapon..
I've heard you can get stones and tabs also, but I've never got any so I don't know if it's true.

you can get stones, very hard to get them. The more blue an item has the higher the chance of you getting stones

I got a 7th degree lucky stone destroying a nice bow i found. it din't have any blue on it at all. But, yes, having blues on it should help out a bit.

u can get stones from breaking down equipments?!?!??!!
wow ive gone through like 50 break down rounds(my source of income) of equipment and havent even gotten 1!
must be pretty rare..........................*crickets*

Theres a method to check. What you do is fill up ur inventory so that theres less than 4 spots open and put the destroyer rondo in first then the equipment. If you get something that says [Required spaces:5] or higher, theres a good chance it will give a stone. If ur item has blues on it it should give a jade stone.

It is not a 100% certainty that you will get a stone then. I had that a few times saying I needed more room, but in the end I didn't get any stone.
I noticed that the higher degree an item is the more chances an item will give you a stone and more blues add to the chances too.
I have only seen items from 6d 7d and 8d giving stones so far. (I have destroyed a lot just to see if they could give me a stone, first hand experience)
