Lv 9 mastery...I'm an idiot that now needs advice

OK, the problem is I decided to farm after getting to like lv 20+ and having no skills and realised that all this farming talk is not bull...

So i read some guides on farming ect and start to build my character, now everything was going fine until I reached LV18 and FOOLISHLY added 2 to my fire, ice and bow mastery along with a few higher lv skills that opened.

Anyway, I try to figure out how people are saying they have like 50+k of SP at lv 23/24 and the maths really did not add up to me so I searched some more farming topics and find that its better to kill and res to STAY at lv 16.

Thing is if I kill myself back down to 16 my gap becomes only 7 which I've already done once and leveled back upto 18 again but the sp is now obviously suffering.

Ive spent a lot of time on this char and have around 9k of SP and seems a waste to start over

Is there any way of resolving this mess? I was thinking lv up to 20 and do the cursed heart quest then delevel skills to 7 then kill / res myself back down to 16 but really...is that just to much messing about? I would need 70 cursed hearts.

Advice would be really nice....thank you.

LvL up to lvl 24 get a new SOS weapon (hit hard)...and keep a 9 lvl gap..and stay at that lvl until u get that amount of SP that you want.

OK, but why do people go onabout farming at lv 16 all the time?

I thought that was a must for farming good amounts of sp.

Lvl 16 farming is NOT a must. The reason ppl do that is b/c of an SOS weapon (bow) and the high spawn rate at the bandit stronghold. You can farm at any lvl u want, preferably when u gain access to a new weapon degree such as at 24, 32, 42, etc.
