sos or good blue +5

im lvl 23 with gap 2,i started farming so ill have lvl 9 gap at lvl 30,i have lvl 29 spear,with BR 35,attack rating +30%,crit 11,and some durability ++
my question is
sos is same as +5 or +6 right?
can i just make that spear +5 and farm with that
shure it will take longer but im not planing to pay 5-6 m for lvl 29 bow[/b]

If you ask me SoS is a waste of gold, when you can just get a bunch of elixirs and get it to +5 yourself, then it should be about the same as a clean SoS. But then again, you could fail the alchemy and lose all the money. Personal pref really. =/

sos and +5 are not the same
the nearest sos is at 32 why don`t you get a 32 spear and try to +5 it or get a sos.
my theory is that farming is always easier on a new degree weapon.
because you can get the strongest available weapon on that level.
so why don`t you try to keep a gap 9 at level 32?

Sos is better than +5.
All of it's base stats are higher, and then even if it was equal to +5, you can still add plusses to a sos for little risk. It's much harder to get from +5 to +8 than to get an sos to +3 or +5

Why a bow? If your a spear user, use spear, bows are for the stronghold.

just buy some random bow (no need for stats) to get the mobs towards you
due to his big gap he wont have any ranged attacks
hit mobs with bow ...and switch to spear

No need once u get nukes, which is why i wouldn't recommend farming at lvl 30 unless u need the sp to get the nukes in the first place, though that technique is useful for glaives.

waste of inventory space. and if hes int why not just nuke first? thatll get the mob to you and do a lot of damage.

Because you won't have nukes farming at 32.
