Is it some kind of norm in Silkroad for people to KS giant from lower level, less godly equipped people?

Everytime I get ready to tank on a giant someone shows up to take my kill while I'm the one sucking down the pots....

Just a gripe I guess...sorry just wondered how others felt...

refering to by the way about level 1-32 creatures, no idea about what you guys do near Hothan (sp?) yet.

I believe the rule is that a giant is a group mob, but if i see someone taking it on i will just hang around to make sure they dont get gang banged or protect their wolf from gettin the good news (sometimes i receive a thankyou). I also like to give it a few seconds to see if its gonna take them a week or two to kill the giant, then perhaps i will weigh in.

You will definetly encounter lots of ksing bots along the way, but there are also just the arrogant human players that kill whatever they feel like with no regard for others. If i see someone on a giant, i cover them by killing all the regular mobs around them and usually toss up a harmony circle and run off to kill something else. Some are nice, some are not so much.

generally players KS all the time. a few like the guys who posted here are nice.

i basically see if someone is using hp pots like water and help them if they are.

it really gets to me the people ksing...but on a giant its a joke. Even when
i tell them as am fight to stop they carry on, and after say they
can see me?? , i mean if there going to KS me
at least say so.

I mean if i ever ks someone i say sorry and move on, i expect the same

I dont mind regular ksing where im on a giant and someone else the same lvl as me but with better gear or whatever gets the kill, that i dont mind. what i mind is the ksing from higher lvl players, especially in the stonrghold, while they are waiting for TG they get in the farming grounds and ks the giants,while im trying to get some decent sp and have gone zerk. the thing is, they are so high lvl that they dont get any drops and i mean no drops at all. These people are retards and ks like that i hate.

how do they ks your giant if u are getting hit? i thought giants will attack the person that deal the most dammage. so if its attacking u, then u'll get the drop the only thing they steal is your exp.

nope, teh suppose rule is that if a person is on zerk and fighting it (killing speed doesn't matter, wtf you want? bladers w/ glaiver dmg?), then you dont attack teh giant or you make that person waste his zerk for no reason

Bladers/Sworders pwn at ksing. Anyways, usually I don't attack it unless it's over 90% health, or if the other person has gone zerk.

argh... arrogant people and botters are same kind of people... just shit

Gah, don't get me started on bladers/sword and knockdown. I've lost a lot of giants to them =(

bladers are ok, but bows? they just stand far away from danger while im getting pwned by the giant and its 20 or so minions, making me waste so much hp pot while he takes no dmg whatsoever.

to me the lower lvl giants are usually killed by an angry low lvl mob (white tiger and below), the higher lvl giants don't have problem with ksing, because players are no long "OMFG a giant he's gonna die, HELP HIM!!!"

i hate bladers, dumb kding the giants, but when the giant dies, i still get the kill anyway

thats the problem, you loose a lot of hp pots and you wont even get full xp

I usually help people with frosbitting/freezing the giants and I kill the mobs around him/her. Only when they have zerk tho, if you dont have zerk I will help/steal w/ ever =)

What really takes the piss is when you're low level and tanking, say, a giant Tiger, and some 6x ass stands next to you, waits for the last shred of energy, and 1hits for 6k damage.

Seriously, apart from proving how annoying you are, what's the point? Almost nil exp, no drops, no kudos.

Actaully this sucks quite hard, yesterday I was fighting with giant bandit archer, and had him done about 50% when suddenly a lvl 40 ran and killed him with 2 hits, and I got just half of exp, although I was sure Im gonna kill that giant, because I had good ice river and lot of potions in my pocket

I am a blader ... but i don't ks thet much , when i see a player damage a giant more then 30% i leave him to kill becouse i take low exp and don't kill it + no money or intemp ...

This is my opinion ...


Blader is grate i think becoure fast attack and good damage i love blader and i stay full str blader on aege server 4 ever

Uh. far as I'm concerned a giant is a free for all.. Hell... I should record the reaction we have in vent when a bunch of us are thieving or something, and one of us spots a giant, we all run for it as everyone goes nuts shouting "OH ITS MINE!", keep in mind we all 70+ Gotta do something entertaining in this game..

@nnooss I'm also a blader.. and I can pretty much out ks anyone on a giant.. even a zerked nuker, kd +stab stab stab
