Play with bow?

I'm trying to make a pure str blade character as my first and I'm using a guide on here, but I've been seeing that a lot of people train with bow. Would it be a good idea for me to do that at level 16 without putting any skills on pacheon (or whatever bow is)?
EDIT: Sorry if this is supposed to be in the "Characters and Skills" category.

Put points into pacheon, if ur using Bow..
U can d-skill after lvl 20.

Ok, and I de-skill by letting a friend kill me? I'm so new.

you de-skill by going to lvl 20 and do the curst heart quest to de-lvl your masteries.
to de-lvl your char you die and a friend rezes your continusly.

yeah....
use bow for low lvls cause it trains like
-------------------------------------------------> bow
--------------------------------------------> spear
-------------------------------------->glaive
-------------------------------------->sword
---->blade

I was wondering why I was leveling slow...using a bow is already helping a ton.
