Will I make money turning drops into elements and selling them, or just NPCing the crap i fing from mobs?

Does anyone know how much the NPC gives for the elements per lvl, or does anyone have a link to such info?

you can make gold from the elements, usually they sell for 1k each. except lvl 2 wind cost about 2k each. high lvls need them for their 7-8th degree tabs.

Instead of npcing the gear i get, i just break everything that i, or a guildmate, cant use and make stones from those elements. Stones can go for quite a bit of cash if they are good. If you are good at it, and buy the cheap gear from stalls that have them underpriced (weapons give you more elements than gear), use the elements from those to make stones you can easily make 5-10 mil a night.

Wind level 4, wind level 2, earth level 6- the elements no one can find, everyone needs, and all the gold buyers jumped up the price to 3-4k each

Did some math on this myself yesterday.

If you just process the elements and then sell them all straight to an NPC then you get an average return of 789 Gold for every 100 gold you spend on Void Rondos.

If you are lucky enough to sell all the elements you get to other players at market prices (although these do fluctuate) you should get somewhere close to 100,000 Gold back for every 100 Gold you spend on VR.

I sell everything to NPC except Wind 2 & 4 (I know I can get 2k/unti for these) and I get a return of 3,800 Gold for each 100 Gold on VR.

Processing elements is a good way to make money.

I Saved up my elements from lvl 35 to lvl 42 and then spent 2 days selling them, I mad easily 10 mil from winds and another 10 mil from everything else. Elements are the only way i have ever made money. And i stillhave thousands of each left hehe

Dont sell all others, unless you think you will never make any stone.
I myself keep ALL elements I get. (I have somewhere between 50k-100k elements by now) I make several stones each day. They are mostly 6d and 7d stones and 6d stones use: 6d, 4d 3d and 2d elements, 7d stones use 5d 3d and 2d elements. I really advise you to keep elements!!
If you want to make stones later for own/sell use it will save you a LOT of gold. On average stones go for 500-700k if its 6d or 7d so (few higher ones...)

sickathebass is 100% correct. You will always get more from other players than you will from NPCs.

I will try to sell em to other players, but can anyone point me to a thread where a ballpark price for the elements are? Im on the Rome server and it is MUCH different from Babel, where I used to live. The economy is f-ing retarded. I mean whats a decent price when weapon elixers go for 400-525k apiece sometimes? I just wanna make MAXIMUM loot for all the elements that i got and will get. Thx again for all the feed back.

i break everydrop and sell stall elements. sometimes breakin items u get stones = even mor money.

ofcoz u gotta look around town to see wat element is worth stalling.

I saw this thread the other day discussing Element prices, its what I used for my calculations above, and is what most members of my Guild use as a guide.

Although on Troy I have regularly seen Wind 2 priced at 3k, sometimes even or 4k and I have once even seen a stall with 5k Unit for them.

thank you very much guys for all your help. The thread was awesome. Just off of the drops i got from Penons, I made 1.3 million in like 30 min on the Rome server. It is not always gonna be like this, but its better than NPCing them all. THX
