okay i just started playing a few days ago i was at my GF house and i saw her sister playing this game because she is not allowed to play FFXI ( Online ) etc.. So i thought it looked ok like WOW type of thing. the 1'st time i played i thought it suked big time.. lol.. then i deleted it.. then i decided not to be so racist towards it and give it another try. ( Problly too used to Paying MMORPG's) I got to lvl 5 and learned some skills magic etc and it turned into alot of fun then started reading forums looking at screenshots at work etc etc and i think the game is fun as hell right about now. Anyway! to my questions which i have a few of.

1: I made a character with the Spear looking glaive weapon or just glaive. and i was wondering what magic i should be skilling up for it.. i read that it should be fire from another forum, because of buffs or something.

2: What skills as far as Int, Str, Dex etc should i be Lvling? (I'm not sure if the game has Dex stats just wanted to throw that out there as an example.)

3: Also in Games like FFXI ( Online ) there are Auction House(s), Bazaar ( Better Known as Stall's in this game;Person selling items etc.) Are there any " Auction House " in SRO?.. where are the Locations in Jangan?..

4: As far as storage goes is there a Place i can place armor items etc or an NPC that holds them for me?, is there a price?..

I guess thats it for now.. that i can remember anyway....

Hello and welcome to SilkRoadOnline :)

1 - It's actually based on ur builds. Usually, spear and sword, people would make a Pure INT. Because those 2 weapons actually good in magical attack. Blade & Glavie are usually a Pure STR weapon because of it's physical attack power. And bow, it depends though but i'd recommend STR. :) For a glavie user whom goes for Pure STR build, yeah, they'd go fire as the main force and passives from lightning (Grasswalk). For more info, try searching under Characters & Skills.

2 - STR is known for physical attack and INT goes for magical attack as far as i'm concerned. So yeah, this is based on your char's choice. There is no DEX though :D

3 - If u mean by a place to sell or buy items, yes there is. They're called NPC which is provided by the game. They served for u to buy from them or u sell to them. For players, they could open stall and sell their things under any price they want.

4 - Nope, there is no other place where u can store ur items. There's only NPC storage and when u store things into them *deposit* , u need to pay a price for it. It depends on ur item though.

Hope you'd gain something from here. Just post a new topic or pm me if u need help. I might check it out. :)

Enjoy the game. ^^

First of all Welcome to Srf :)

1. yes fire is pretty good, and you need some wepon skills. You can read more about the different skills here

2. There is no Dex only int & str you get 3 points to distrubute when you lvl up. Read more about them in the "Characters Skills".

3. There are no Auction houses, only stalls, yes abit crappy system...

4. Yes there is a storage place where you can put your stuff, its located by the fountain in Jangan, and there are ones in the other two towns Donwhang & Hotan that you will discover later. (it cost abit for every item)

Thanks for all the feedback guys.. still enjoying the game although im a little confused as far as the Lvl 20 jobs are concerned.. i know there is thief hunter and some other job.. but whats going on?.. what special attributes etc do you get and whats the difference?.. all i know is that for some reason people hate thieves because everyone wants to kill them lol..

Hunters VS Thief??..

can someone inform me on this epic battle lol..

3 jobs. hunter, thief, trader.

Its a circle. Traders want to trade to make money, Theives go to steal the traders goods and they caravans, the Hunters protect the traders and kill thieves.

So even tho thieves are at a disatvantage because they have hunters and traders after them and some times even other thieves after them, theiving is the most exciting job in my opinion.

there are no specail skill as of now that each job can give you. except how much gold you can make depending on what lvl you do the job. a lvl 20 trader will make less than a lvl 30 trader, etc etc, there is a chart somewhere around the forums.
