Silkroad Online Forums

I just formated my harddisk, i downloaded Silkroad, installed it, updated it and now when i start it, i get this error. (After i press "Start")



Can anybody help me on this matter? Thank you.

I've gotten that a few times lately, I just restart the application and its fine.

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't helped me too much. I tried starting the game several times and each time I got that error. It starts to be frustrating. Is it possible, that there's a problem with my PC? (which I doubt, because i just reinstalled windows XP and got nothing, but the basic programs on it....and Silkroad )

Till then i'll just start it over till i get bored.

The latest piece of advice I found on the subject is to download and install the following 2 pieces of MS software:

From the reactions I read it seems to work for some people at least.
