My monster summon scrolls are starting to pile up, and was wondering if someone could tell me more about them. Such as when would it be best to use them? What exactly will they summon?

I'm lvl 25 Glavie/Armor. Am I ready for these yet? Should I wait until I'm in a party? In short, I have little idea of what they are all about, so any help is appreciated.

Umm you can either sell them,or spawn them on bots.Or use them and kill the monsters for lots of XP/Gold.

If your in a party,it will spawn a # of monsters equal to the # of people in your party.ie party of 8 = 8 monsters summoned.If your lvl 26 it will summon a lvl 26 monster,around that lvl anyways.

babypoohbear is right, they fight you, but he/she forgot to tell they DO have a limited time. (It is not fun when they disappear when you are fighting them, you will get NO xp from that then, so you have to kill them within the limited time you have!!!)

The monster you summon will be a "Strong" version of a monster around your level. If you don't have a regular group of friends you play with I suggest that you go to a remote location without being in a party. Then buff up and right click one scroll. You then have 5 minutes to kill the monster. You might want to turn on berserk if you have it too. The experience from the kill may or may not be worth it to you. The items you can get are nice too. You can even get Global Chat items.

get a lot of potions and enable auto pot. or else you'll get owned

at least that's what happened to me last time... every attack (imbue + weapon skill) only take away somewhere around 1/40 of its entire hp. of course i fought it alone w/ a lot of other monsters in the area swamping me.

monsters on these scrolls have limited spawning time to 5 minutes if im not mistaken. it will spawn within ur level and will give lots of gold and exp. but they dont die easily.

I just went to a remote location behind town where no other monsters could agro me. It took a long time to kill him, less than 5 minutes, thankfully. I didn't feel the xp was so hot, and he only dropped a bunch of money and a jewel box. Would they give better xp when in a party? (since there will be more of them) Or better drops?

i wasted my 2nd monster scroll because i was 1 hit away from killing it, but it disappeared!!! stupid 5min rule... although on top of that, i also wasted hell of a lot of potions

Well I did once with a few good friends several monsterscrolls in an 8 ppl party + 10 fire mercs (guildmaster from that specific guild is lvl 72 or so) spawning strong edimmu's. Got a lot of XP from that! Although it costed like serveral 100k's of gold, it was much of fun.
Best is to do it with several friends and spawn monster near your lvl.

Yes it is! As said before try to get some friends (or ask MasterWong he did do some summons scrolls some time back ago) You could have asked me but I dont have any scrolls left.

Theyare fun yes..is the Pandora Box where they go through all Degree of monster?? someone in jang south gate did that ...i got almost 500 k exp and 40 k gold :] ! nearly died towards the end...all of the bodies..you should have seen them !

im pretty sure that the aggro monster closest to your lvl is summoned

Ummmm I think it summons 1 monster at lvl 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 for each person in the party, or soemthing like that.

I really am gonna use that 1 person monster scroll...I want items and exp lol.

using party monster scrolls is much funner though

pandora's just spawn mobs from 20-30 lvls below you to mobs a few levels higher then you, and 5 mobs each i think


when a lvl 57 did it in our guild he got demon horses, earth ghosts, scorps, ...., ishades and penons[/i]

I believe its 10 waves of spawns where the last spawn are the mobs that you would summon using a regular monster scroll.

And its 4 mobs each.

That sounds awesome... but what about the Summon Monster Scroll (2 People use)...

Is just that my bunny found it somewhere on dead ravine, i think someone had PK or drop it somehow.

My point is.... How do you open it, i meant i tried too many times and a lot of different ways that i don't even know what to do.. i'm thinking of selling it on a NPC but before that... can someone at least tell me how to open this mosnter scroll?

and btw, since ur lvl 25, your monsters will probably be a stronger version of earth ghosts
