A few questions from a new comer

Post by Swab »

I started playing silk road a few days ago and i have a few questions to ask people with more experience then me.
1) Can things that are bought with silk be traded? I got a 60% and 100% exp thing from making a char so i was wondering can i sell them?
2) Is there some way i can transfer items from one char to the other? Bank? i currently have no friends on silk so i cant transfer through people.
3) What is so special about "Blue" things? i have gotten quit a few and i just npced them.
4) How much does a SOS lvl 12 silver neckless go more?
5) Im lvl 13 and whats the fastest way to make money? Power grind to lvl 20 when i can do trade job? Or sell drops?

Thanks,
~Swab

1) no
2) only on the same account through the storage (unless you have friends that can hold items for you)
3) "blue" items have enhanced stats such as INT/STR, increased attack rating, increased durability, etc...
4) not much.. you can make it to level 20 in one day of grinding/questing. By the time you get the level 12 SOS necklace you will be level 15+.
5) Grind and sell items... don't worry about leveling to 20 and trying to trade. You will lose much, much more than you will ever gain trying to trade at level 20.

a small note on selling stuff:

NPC traders only look at the type of weapon/equip you are selling and the level of it. They don't give extra cash for +1/+2/+3, blue extra's (+3 STR), and high critical and such. So if your weapons has (a lot) of good blue's or +'s, it's worth stalling them. Usually you can ask at least twice the value you would get from a NPC, if you have many blues/+'s you can ask more.
