Anyone have any tricks to getting in SRO? I always have a hell of a time logging in... for instance, just tried for an hour.. tried a few styles.. none got me in... but a friend of mine who just started the game (lv 20) managed to get in on the first try... i'm lv 52.. almost 53, and I have silk.. and item mall stuff.. you'd think I'd be able to get in a bit easier

am sorry to say but it doesnt really work like that am afried...Theres no
really good way of logging in, but keep in mind that the game is very
busy during the weekend, also check your internet connetions...and keep
trying.

Meh, I just started re-playing again.. I stopped for about 3 months.. before I stopped, I was always able to get in the server after 10 minutes or so of grinding the enter key like crazy.. now it never lets me in.. i've now been trying almost 2 hours...

lol i was the same...stopped playing for 3 months..came back in...2 weeks
later my character got hacked (i found out my mate went to a keylogger
website on my PC)....but i still got another character on my laptop....lol
and no one knows about it...hehe

The best way to get in is to keep trying.

You can also wait until peak times are over.

Idk but everytime i click the connect button during peak times the 'Disconnected from Server' always comes up. But if i click on the password and hit enter it only says the server is too busy in the button left corner. I just find the fact it automatically kicks you from game without ever hacing connected sucks. Also they need to install an auto kick after 10 mins of AFK. i have been testing lately to see they have one while i have been drawing some random shiz, i was afk for over 2 hours on olympus just outside of jangan and nothing happnened. Ppl must think i am a bot by now though

If you kicked people after 10 min AFK, there would be little point to stalling. Good luck finding your gear.

Kick people that don't move after 30 minutes, UNLESS they're stalling. Then the time should be 8 hours.

Ok lets all get everyone we know to tell that to joymax maybe thatll fix the server lag

It won't There's like a thousand threads about this on the SRO forum and nothing has been done about it.

make a giant billboard in the town center where everyone posts what they're selling and the price. then even if you're not logged in, if someone buys it, the transfer automatically occurs. as for log-in trouble, log in at 2am, then stall until you want to play. Or, start a new file in one of the newer servers. I play in RedSea, and I very rarely have any log in trouble at all. Even the strain caused by everyone grinding or botting to get the thanksgiving event items only takes me 2 or 3 retries to get through. And as was said before, all the silk in the world won't get you a VIP spot in a server.

I dont think that would work. I mean if you regret putting it on the board you cant even raise/lower the prices. It makes trading hardly give you hardly any value. I mean now you can buy something for let say 200k and sell 2 mins later for 300k if everybody puts that on board it would be to easy to trade. It will have no use to stall etc...

i saw this trick in a forum topic somewhere, and it seems to work for me, but then again it might just be coincidence. after you type in your name and password, hold down alt+t while you press connect. it is not a guaranteed way to log in, but for me it *seems* to help. just a tip.
