im on a quest now that i have to collect i think it is gun powder bombs or something..and its 3 times repeatable and i have to get 200 everytime i think it is..not sure..but anyway..i cant find anywere around donwhang that has a good patch of thses that spawn relatively fast..im alwasy moving from one area to the other the other to kill one of these instead of just repeatablly killing the monster in the same area like the rest of the monsters in silkroad..does anywone know a place around DW that these spawn relativly fast??

It is located at the northwest of Donhwang near the entry of the caves. It is usually empty and the spawn is relatively fast.

i think your talking about the normal gun powders..the meek ones run along the south end of DW but they just spwn so slow..and there are never a bunch of them together..

It states that you can either kill one of them. The meek gun powder spawn is gay. Very slow and i quitted training there as soon as I leveled.

So i guess it is best to get them from normal gunpowder. Tips: Turn off your auto-pills when fighting normal gun powders

thanks for that mate..haha ye i know the meeks spawn is the worst ive come across so far in playing..ill just have to fight the normal ones..although they are 2 levels above me ..hope there not agros..why should i turn me auto pots off..id be dead real quick..

the difference between them is small, and they are aggro but yuo shouldn't have a problem. jkust turn of pills, not pots. this is because they have an effect that can't be pilled away, so uyuo'll jsut be wasting yuor pills

oh sh*t that doesnt sound to good at all..how do i get rid of the effects then.. ..ill can just use my harmony teripy then..if there agros..are the meek earth ghosts that are near them agros too..

i dont know if they fixed this but a couple weeks ago i know it still worked... i didnt do this cuz i like getting exp while finishing quests but if you want to do it quick...

1. collect 200 gunpowders (so message comes up telling you, you have completed)

2. store all 200 in storage (this is where i dont know if it works, used to tho)

3. turn in quest, grab the second quest

4. take out your gunpowders and sell 1 to npc

5. go out and collect 1 more and you have 200.

6 repeat until quest is done

im not sure what you mean by this..so i collect 200 fuirstly then deposit all them in storage if possible..turn in quest meaning??i cant grap the second quest if i didnt do the first one complethy can i..??

hey bro... it is like this....

1. get the 1st quest.
2. Collect 200 gunpowder.
3. Store 200 gunpowder to your storage.
4. Go the NPC where you get the quest.
5. Get the reward. *1st quest is completed.*
6. Talk again to NPC and get 2nd gundpowder quest.
7. Go back to your storage. *You can still see the 200 gunpowder you stored*
8. Get 1 gunpowder drop and sell to NPC. *199 gunpowder remains.*
9. Go out town and collect 1 more gunpowder.
10. repeat Procedure 3-9 until you complete the 3times quest.

that's all.
unfortunately, i was able to know this when i was already finished collecting 600 gunpowders and already lvl30+.

omfg!! this works haha..this is lethal..i got them then stored em..completed quest went back to storage then sold one to the protecto9r woman npc..and then a message came up ive picked up 199 bombs ..then ijust gfot one more and now im on my way back to complete it..gonna do the last one now..

ye the ghost bugs was pretty bad but i think this is worse because it takes so long to level up at these higher levels.. thanks again

i wonder if that worked for the white tiger skins, that would have been nice, i thought i'd never get thru those

haha.ye i agree..id say there is a good chance it does..on any repeatable quests that you gotta collect the same stuff for..i don tthink theres a reason why it shouldnt...this is good because you can finish quests alot quicker but then again if ya think about it ya might be stuck trying to level up a whole level with out any quests avaible and youll just have to grind all day to get all the exp..

True, but certain areas are better to grind in if you want to level, meek gunpowers are not that one of those areas

I think you can drop one on the ground and pick it up as well. But I forget, just dont do it in town.

haha yeah i wouldnt do it in town..i dont think it works dropping it because you cant pick how many to drop..so youll be just dropping 200 and im not sure if it would work..but it might..ye the gunpower areas are crap..everywere else like tigers and bandits youll have laods around ya...i usually get up a level a day since i started about 2 and half weeks ago..and im a at lvl 27 now..gona wait til i at least get to 36-40 to start doing jobs..

if you shift+click you can separate stacks, i will try that first and let you know how it works... I'm lvl27 at like 60% right now and def want to wait to do jobs too, because right now there really is no point to unless you are bored

yeah exactly..it would be alot more fun and easier for ya if ya started doing jobs after the late lvl 30's ...

yeah try that drop thing out then and tell us if it works..

lol, ok it def didn't work dropping one, but it wasn't that hard to get 202 bombs anyway, i just look like a 'tard now thats all, lol


and someone was saying about pills not working... they do work on the meeks, just not the normal gunpowders, for some reason darkness status is not curable that i know of, but its only like 8 seconds so its not too bad

yeah it works on tha meeks ye..but not the others..the darkness doesnt really do anything anyhow except make u yellow
