Charming action

What exactly is a charming action and how do I get my wolf to perform it?

If you have your wolf summoned, simply right click the icon and watch.
It doesn't just work for wolves either. It applies to any other pet.

Erm.. what icon? I right clicked the portrait of it in the top right corner and nothing happens.

The charming action icon. Right click it and your wolf (under lvl 40) will roll over, howl at the moon (over lvl 40), I dunno wat monkeys or squirrels do, I havent tried with mine

If you press [A] to bring up the action menu, it's the blue button.
