with the expansion coming in the future, how do you think things will become affordable and how fast do you think prices will drop on the 7th and 8th degree items... as it is now it is nearly impossible to survive without buying gold or being lucky to get a som or sosun weapon drop to make money. you think gold drops will be increased or lower degree sos/som/sosun will increased? what im getting at is the economy in this game is already messed up... what the hell is going to happen after the expansion?

I've never bought an ounce of gold. And as of now, I have 100m+ gold... Just train, sell things, be smart.

im lvl 36 and been playin since about January and ive only found 1 SOS.

It was a lvl 35 Sword Crit 4 which sucked and no pluses. I sold it for 5m and i have in all about 8m of gold.

i have never had good luck, i only got a sos at lvl 46 (garment pants), no good weapons, nothing good for 70 lvls lol... but im selling items, doing stones etc and it isnt too hard make some money

I don't get alot of money, just enough to get my eq I do get alot of tablets that I actualy need to pimp up my eq from drops which saves me ALOT of money. Most of the time I get all the elements I need from alchy drops or if I really need it i'll go jangan buy lvl 2-3 degree wepons break em down for wind/fire. I'm not to worried about getting eq, most of the eq I get is from drops I find. Just buy stuff that isn't blued out and blue it yourself, will save yourself some money, but 8th degree is expencive reguardless if it's blue or not so...yeah..

i'm hoping for chaos AND bedlam afer the expansion.

i play sro since august, i had a caracter lvl 43 and now i have a lvl 16(farming) character, i have now
#4th degree sos+2 garmetnset(+accessories) with many blues,
#5th deg sos/som+2 garment set(also with acc) with many blues
#6th deg sos+3 FULL BLUE(almost all blues 100%, str, int, hp, mp, parry, dura) protector set+ acc,
#sos+5 full blue lvl 42 glavie,
#som+5 crit 14 full blue lvl 32 glavie
and 28 mil cash....i NEVER bought gold, i just got 9 mil from my cousin who quited the game...if i would sell all my stuff i will get over 150mil and all this till lvl 43......

i had 2 chars on sro , on the first i made it to 33 but i realized my build was crappy and that i didnt have sp , i started making gold by resseling sos stuff , farmed a str glavier and lvl it to 58 with a gap of 3-4.
i have all str jewels from 4th to 7th degree , 4th degree sos garment , som/sun 5th degree , 6th degree sos/som with str , 7th degree sos fully pimped , a seal of sun glavie 32+5 and a som 52+5 glavie ,never sold the gear i used and i have never bought gold.

all this done by resselling and a little help from ppl i met ingame, i never had to sell my regular drops , all of them were broken and made elements , and didnt even had to sell my elements.
making gold is just a matter of time and making smart decisions..

That statement is the reason gold bots are such a HUGE problem. I seriously hope this statement does not mean that you have actually helped to perpetuate the gold bot problem by purchasing gold.

As for "gold/item gifts" why would that be an issue? One Guild mate to another? Cause if helping a friend out is an issue then....

why would you even buy gold from someone else.you can buy a monkey with silk and use him to mke you millions, and you will make a lots more.

How much gold will a monkey make you? Tthey only last for 4 weeks. Monkey cost $5.80. Gold cost 7 dollars for 10 million gold.

I guess you are right go buy the gold from those gold bots that'll make EVERYTHING in your world better. Plus with all that LAG, from gold bots, you'll have loads of time to think about what your going to spend your money on.
