How safe is Vent in terms of people having access to your ip address - is that even an issue? Are there security concerns (re: hacking) that people using it should be aware of?

vent used to be free, but now the free version allow you for only 10-20 people to be connected at anytime.

Use TS(Teamspeak) its much better and you can use plugins for it to show who is currently logged on it by just going to your website.

Vent is very safe, used it for many years, never had a problem. It also sounds a F**K load better than teamspeak, i find on ts its all crackly and crap, on vent the sound is very nice and smooth. Good program *thumbs up*

I dunno. I don't think TS sounds crap compared to vent, just.. different. Because on the TS server I used to go on, I had basically everyone memorized by their voice. But when they all switched to vent, someone that had a very distinguishable voice had spoken, and I had no idea who it was.
