I've been reading alot in this Forum abt how to build a character, what is the best equipment and stuff.
It well known that pure STR should wear Garments to boost their Mag Defence and pure INT should wear Armor to boost their Phy Defense.

I've personally tried this out, i've got 2 sets of equipments, One set of Armors and another set or Garments of which are at identical lvl.

Heres when i got confused, I am Pure INT lvl 31 ATM, going against HyeongCheon.

While wearing Garments, I take damage of around 200++ per hit. So i was thinking to get my Armor out since HyeongCheon deals physical damage. But to my surprise, with my Armor on (one of it is even an SOS piece) these Rock Guys still does 200++ damage to me.. i was like WTF?!

I am confused...

I had 2 sets of armour and garms too, then once I got level 50 just went garms. As a nuker I would definatly go armour. They are harder to kill for a lot of builds.(except other nukers in garms).

SAave your garmets tho for things like earth toists.

the only thing I can think of is your garment item(s) might have a bonus to phy reinforce,( the # in () after it). If your armor set has little or no +'s and your garment set has high +'s this could explain it.let's say each armor item has (12%) avg. and each garment item has (85%)avg for phy reinforce. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

If you really want to test it out properly you should buy NPC garments & armour. That way the only variable is the type of clothing you're wearing, everything else will be +0%. I'm tempted to try it out now myself actually. I'll post the results in a while.
