Is there another one? Or any place inside the Bandit den with nearly as high of a spawn rate? Cos ya the one is insane...until 6 other people show up. Seriously, after more than about 3 people, the xp turns to shit. And since most people are idiots, the place can get to as high as 6 or 7 people all trying to train in one room. Everyone KSing everyone. Ass hole 20+'s using Seal bow and stealing every single kill from the lower lvls...

So ya now that I'm done complaining, is there a second good spot in the bandit den?

The ks'ers .. I can assure you are not there for the exp .. but for the sp.

If you choose to train in or around the main building.. Expect to be ks'd.

The ks'ers .. I can assure you are not there for the exp .. but for the sp.

If you choose to train in or around the main building.. Expect to be ks'd.

+1. Also theyre not lvl 20, they just decided to turn off the noob leaf which you can do since level 1.

If they're idiots and crowd the place so that you can't get exp, you could always move out to an uncrowded area. Its not like lowbie training areas are overcrowded *coughcavecough*

Time your play-time better.

I target the hours where most of the server is stalling or when most do job activities.

Get a high level guildmate to bring in a trade horse and pop them all.

Plus when I say exp I mean exp in general; as in overall experience or SP experience. I'm there for SP exp...why would I be for overall xp when I get 28 per kill or somethin?

And this wasn't a KS rant. I just wanted to know if there's another building. I guess there isn't lol. C0kane, it's crowded at 7:00am Pacific, and it's crowded at 11:00PM Pacific. It's always crowded.

Well pretty much ur stuck with the east and west side bandit archer spawns. If theyre both full id just be agressive and force people out of ur spot by ksing em so they cant kill anything and they leave. IMO ksing in the bandit archer spawn is ok since all that matters is the sp.

Also about the noob leaf, its fun to take it off so people get pissed at ya and threatend to pk ya when they can't.

The stronghold is a place to farm sp, and the killrate is FAST.

No such thing as ks there, just kill what spawns

That bandit is total arse for farming sp, the gold you get is almost nothing, the drops aren't worth shit, you get ks'd, you have to share the spot with dozens of people and worst of all you have to delevel 3 levels every day which wastes god knows how much time.

I've been at penons for over 2 months now and there's hardly anyone ever there, the drops are all worth over 100k each, the average gold drop is over 350, since I stopped buying anything other than pots I now have tons of gold too.

Plus you can job if you want to, should the boredom of farming get you down, something else you can't do when your in that den stuck at lvl 16.

how much sp have you made so far mamba?

I’ve never farmed in 59 lvls now.. And started to notice that I need to lol. So im almost 60, and when I am I’m planning on farming at yeti’s with a 9lvl gap.. So is the farming there any good? Or should I wait.

Due to my limited experience farming I kinda need your opinion.

I've just spent the past 4 weeks farming SP at Yetis man, and for me it worked well.

I saw 562 SP per yeti kill, at lvl 54 (mastery at 45), and nearly 600 per devil yeti. That's nearly 1.5 SP per kill.

I kill 2 yetis in 3 hits and see around 2-2.3K per 3hr GT session.

Yes, the 52 som+7 sword was bough specifically for farming but I've had enough now.

I got to 80K and after getting ks'd by a complete ass for 2 days, decided it was my turn and dropped my gap to 0 and have made his existence hell.

I'm with mamba, farming at stronghold sucked, I'm glad I went to yetis to do it.

I farmed 20k there, when i was a poor noob with a +5 bow

Farming in the cave is way more fun for me though

Spawnrate is just as fast as the s/h

That's impressing. Thinking of doing the same thing before I go into the cave with the character I play mostly on now. It's not worth it rushing in there, but I guess you know that . Learned the hard way too, especially by being a blader. Good luck with your last SP's!

It's down to 322 a kill now, so every 8 or so I don't get 1 but it's still pretty nice, sometimes I'll just run around the whole ice killing planars and sonars too, give me a bit of variety.

Yeah I'd advise getting all your sp in advance before the cave, I needed about 170,000 from level 48 and I'm keeping in mind that 60-70 with no gap gives 37,000 too, at the end of this months gold time I should have enough. Just gonna grind on what I can 1 shot in the cave.

If the desert opens before then I'll go there instead.

I've been in the cave the last couple of days just for an hour or so while the servers are empty in the morning, had Witchcraft healing me as I ran around and got about 1000 sp in an hour which was good. Don't wanna be in there too much yet, I really hate the place lol

So, would you say for a lvl 59 farming at pennons, or yeti’s is more viable?

It's pretty much even I think, I get less sp at penons but there's more of them to kill and definately a lot less people so you kill more of them and faster, with yetis you sometimes find them in big bunches but you get a bit more sp off them, cuz there's less to kill you don't gain much. So either is fine, I personally like penons cuz they spawn better and nobody else bothers with them much.

The left side of the ice is especially nice., I usually go down the left side till i reach the sonars, clear those out, run to the middle and get some more penons, go right a bit and get more penons and a few planars, then down to the bottom right for a bit for planars and lots of giants, then back to the left side. Some nights I might see only 3 or 4 people the whole grind.

Plus being able to 1 shot them is good too, I put an extra 20 mp stacks in the monkey so I can stay out really long. I don't get hit that much, I've had the same hp pots for weeks lol
