do you always lose your already collected items

when you exit the game during a quest? it's happened to me twice already with the 60 black tiger skins. last time it happend was 3 minutes ago. i've killed dozens of them freaking black tigers and neded a few more skins to complete it, but when i run the game to continue the quest i see in my quest log i have 0 (zero) black tiger skins.
this is really frustrating

if you went to town first...maybe you sold them O.o
but if you properly logged out its all saved so it would be a major bug...
if you just unplug you cable sometimes the progress isnt saved (well that is what GM's are saying)

holy crap. i really might have sold them. sheeeeeeeet, it took me 5 hours to get 40 skins.
