1* Popping

Was just wondering what thief level (or character level) you have to be to summon your own thieves.
I don't condone one-star popping, and I won't do it. I just want to know so I can watch out for the ones that do when me and my friend are going on trade runs.
For example, do you have to be a level 3 thief to summon your own thieves?

well.
you dont
summon your own thef, they spawn just like they do
for a trader, when ever you have a transport that has a trade item init.
You can only do this at lv20, when you are able to trade. a player
theif with a transport will just have to wait for a NPC theif to spawn,
and it can happen as i said above as soon as you can trade (lv20)

Say you find a 5* trade lying on the floor, (if your high enough level to tackle 5* thiefs) you pick it up and follow a 1* trader, then your thiefs spawn if you close enough to the trader your thiefs will attack the trader, Being a 1* the trader would probably be too low to take on high than 2-3* thiefs thus dieing, the npcs then kill the traders convoy, you kill the thief npcs then pick up the goodies, This can be done with any trade * but 4-5 works better because the npcs are higher level
- What i assume, Correct me if im wrong

Popping doesn't work too well when people like me kill the thief's NPCs off. A real thief would go after larger, more profitable targets.

You're just not looking in the right place. Most people advise traders to stay off the main roads, and that is precisely the tactic that sensible multi star traders will take. There is a lot of ground in SRO for a thief to cover looking for a multi star trader, so it's hard to cover it all. I've found multi stars on several occasions on Venice, but you just have to be good at searching. You can't just sit on the main road and expect a multi to come trotting down the road at you.
