just give him in random order until he asks you to give him more, then ask him about the book and exchange it for asa flute

yuo get it first from the lower ferry to hotan, then yuo go to the ticket seller of wtv in jagan, then to jagan herb and flora, collect yuor shit, back to ticket seller, then to the drunkie
