Is it possible to go to hotan on a red horse? When I first started the game, as soon as I reached level 10, I rode to donwhang, just to see what it looked like. I didnt bother going on to hotan because I probrably wouldnt survive the lvl 40 monsters. But now the game is kindof getting boring and I still want to go see what hotan looks like.

hmm...maybe if you keep potting like crazy and avoid the dead ravine..but I think your horse will be 1-hitted by mobs on hotan's side^^ you can try it, it is only 2% grinding><

Portal??

Each town has a portal which allows one to go from 1 town to another. Since he wanted to go to hotan that much use that portal

Portal == the Dimensional Gate. In DW it looks like a bell and it's located between the east and west gates.

If I wanted to go to hotan by using the portal, I wouldnt have asked. What I meant was, I wanted to see the monsters, the area around hotan. I'm just not paitient enough to wait until level 40 something.

I just attempted getting to hotan that way last night, I auctually made it farther than my horse, just not as fast. I managed to get all the way to the ferry on foot, but I decided that if the monsters before hotan were already so strong, I wouldnt last, so I used a return scroll.

Now I have another question... would I be able to make it after the ferry on berserk, if not foot?

So i think it won't last. Get to lvl 30 first before using the new horse

If you take the south ferry and wait to use the zerk only when the first maong is after you, there might be a chance you will make it to the south entrance. Alot of spiders to watch out for, but there's no flower that will hit you from a great distance.

There are some flowers on the road occasionally.

I really dont think that youll reach hotan at lvl 10 unless you have someone there that can protect and res you. there are a lot of aggro mobs on the way from donwhang to Hotan ( scorpians / flowers / yeohas just to name a few) that with one hit on your lvl 10 horse would probably kill it.

Its nice to have a look around however so i would say if your willing to loose a bit of XP then get a friend to take you there on foot.

You might make it on foot close to hotan...

Then the devil flower girls would 1 hit you, they have long range. They always hit my horse coming out of hotan.

i doubt you will make it unless you have like x-large potions for your horse...in case, i repeat, in case they give u a good strike and your horse is miraculously alive or something. Best solution: carry like minimum 5 scrolls of the horses. Good luck with your journey. And if i can find the video...i will show you the video of a level 1-10 character running around in Hotan areas.

is doable, just don't take the shortest road and stay away from any monsters.
Still i would suggest you to take east entrance not south...
south has the spiders...
