I've searched numerous threads in this forum about stats points and delvling. However, noone has answered my question.

Firstly, I know that you are given 5 stat points each time you lvl, 2 of which are spent automatically on hp and mp which leaves 3 stat points left over. Now I am a lvl 16 pure int that is currently sp farming and want to increase my int a lot. When you lvl you can add stat points; in this case i always add 3 int. I also know that when you delvl, say from 17 to 16 you keep the extra 3 stat points that you put in at lvl 17. You do lose the mp and hp bonus though.

What I am not sure about is whether this applies for lvl 20+ or higher. Do you still keep all your stat points that you used after lvl 20? Eg: a lvl 24 delvls to 16. Do they keep the added int between lvls 20-24? I've heard somehere that you don't keep them, only when your lvl is under 20. I was thinking of lvling to 30 and then delvling to 16 so I can have a high degree of int but. Before I go ahead I want to know if you keep your stats or lose them. Otherwise it would be a big waste of time.

The HP, MP stays. You must not add any masteries though when you level up to 30. That is keep it at 7.

In fact, high level skills stay if you delevel, but you won't get to experiment this because it would screw your farming up.

PS. Why on why do you guy keep farming at 16 when the game is fun at 5x, 6x?

But do you know whether you keep the added stats when you delvl from lvl 20 or higher? You keep them between 17 to 16. I'm asking whether you keep them from say 22 to 20 and from there to 16.

While sp farming maybe be boring, having a weak character which is 5x, 6x is not be fun to me at all. Sp farming allows you be very strong compared to others that are your same lvl who did not farm. It really depends on your playing style though. Maybe I should just lvl to 21 and die...

EDIT: Apparently if you delvl from 22 to 21 you keep your stats. So i think that it does work. =)

thats impossible u only loose XP when u get killed by a monster.......what the hell happend to u.....lol

What is impossible?

You commit suicide, over and over again. You can do this easily outside of Donwhang or Hotan (need a friend who can res you). Then just keep on dieing til desired level.
