PHILOSOPHY TABS how do they work

so far i'ved used 2 of them on my weap and both worked well
my question is can philo tabs lower the mag attack? or only raise it

well every stone you make has a chance of assimilating another attribute for good or for worse. correct me if im wrong.

not talking about assimilation.
the mag attack is what is supposed to be changed by the philosophy tab
so im asking if it can lower as well as raise

yea if it assimilates your Mag attack it will go down.
