Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there

I'm quite new to the game (i started playing about 5 days ago). I've reached level 20 today, and people ingame advice me to head out to donwhang.

The problem is, that i can't handle any of the monsters near donwhang (not even the little guys outside the gates). Obviously I don't have any good items, since I just started.

Is this a normal thing at my level (at which level should I go to donwhang then). Any other suggestions for me?

Not to worry i am handling those little guys (lizard ones) at lvl 24. So yours is not that bad

Hiya, If you take a look at This Map It lets you know what monsters to fight for what levels. The right time to change to donwhang is normally when you start getting quests for that city rather than jangan (around lvl 21)

I can handle the Chakji without any problems, so I guess I'm doing ok for my level.

That confused me too.. i went to downhang and one of those earthghosts killed me with two hits (full int *g*). But as you can see on the map linked above earth ghosts are lvl 27 and not the first thing you train on when you get to downhang first.
