Do you really think its worth staying without money just to have some dog chasing you everywhere?
Wait till you have alot of money and higher lvl.
Trust me..aint worth it right now.
And if it dies you gonna have to pay 50k to ress it.
So i'd say "no"^^

I got my wolf now...(level 22). I just found out it cannot pick items like monkeys but can attack reasonably well though it is slow...

My answer to this is yes...but but...don't let your wolf die.

well, if you barely have 1 mil, there are many better things to spend it on. especially since your wolf will probably die at least a few times while it is at lower levels. 50k for each rez...that can pile up quickly, especially if you have any lag issues.

i have a wolf, now lvl 33, and I like him a lot, but for someone in your situation, I am not sure it is the best decision.

:P ....ya i thought they are like monkey....but when i level him up in the process i managed not to make him die. I am on black/white tiger and now my wolf is already level 17.

What's more i got more than enough potion for my wolf (100 small but i think it is too much) and just used 10 so far.

But now i got to think how to make more money for next equipment

Exactly.
Get at leat 1.6mil so you will have 600k left.
When i bought my wolf i screwed up my sword and had to spend 1.4 mil to get back on track.
And had only 98k!!! (at lvl 34)
Had to do load of trades to get my money back..so i wouldnt suggest gettin a wolf at your lvl.

Ya that's another reason why i am scared of getting too high then buy wolf. You wolf would be so weak that by training at your regular monster will bash him up in a few hits -----> have to train at lower mobs first ---> irks me out.

Now i realise i could sell my elements hehe...got at least over 4k of them altogether

if you keep him with you and keep an eye on the wolf, the wolf is handy at whatever lvl. I got my wolf at lvl 19 i believe, and lvled it up to lvl 5 at yeahos. Then i took him with me to hunt ghost bugs with me, wich are way higher lvled then my wolf. But he didnt die once cause i didnt send him into a fight wich he would lose.

IMO the wolf is worth youre money, and no mather what lvl you are you always have to train him at lower monsters. But i have to admit i dont really care about money.

So your saying that its worth having 0 money left just to get a wolf that wouldnt help you till it hits lvl 30? -__-;
Wolfs are pretty much useless till they have over 3k HP which is around lvl 30 i believe.

wait...0 money in a sense that you buy your pots/repair your equips/buy your wolf/buy healing potions for your pet/buy food for it.

If it is the above...yes you can because by the wnd of the trip, you're suppose to get around 50k profit (well that is in my case)

Im just saying its better to have some backup cash instead of trading 50 times a day to get your money back.

Once you get something like 1.5m or 1.2m, then go for it... wolves are really handy if they are your level... but my wold...(kiblesnbits) is level 37 and incredibley useless to a level 56.

If you can, get your wolf ASAP if you are planning on EVER getting one. When it first came out on my last char., I grinded probably 300% slower then without one, as I had to keep stopping to heal/revive/etc. it. Now with my current char. I level so much faster then without one because my wolf is my level.

i bought my friend a wolf when he was lvl 10 and he did fine. It never died, damit he was actually the one in jeopardy of his life! Lvl 17 I would wait until you are lvl 20 and can pretty easily kill chakji workers near the west ferry and you also have some spare money to res it. You wont need hunger pots for a while because it will lvl so fast. Good luck.

I have 0 gold a lot of times, then go grind for a couple of hours and am back up to a few 100k.

Grinding does go faster with a wolf wich means more profit :)

Well i bought my wolf yesterday, i was lvl 20 or so and i went to the workers.. w/e there names are by the ferrys which dont attack you i guess you can say. great place to lvl you wolf, i got him to lvl 18 by today and farmed over 100k and grinded 3 lvls, hes alot of help on the ghost bug quest even though hes 5 lvls lower than me. Id say get it early so you dont have to train as much on lower monsters.

I bought mine @ lvl 19 when I reached 2 mil and got it to lvl 12 in less than 45 mins. It hepled quite a bit during the white tiger skin quest even though it's still at a low lvl. And I only had to use one pot so far....so I guess it was worth the money :D
