Ok so I have murderer staus, i killed three people, which were my buddies. Now everyone has told me i need to die to get rid of it. Now i have died about 6 times and im still a murderer and ive lost a ton of exp including my level.

Are there any ways to get rid of it without dying? I saw something the games guide that pops up on the side window that said remove penalties by a member of the hunters association. And i also heard someone say something about waiting soo many real hours. Well ive waited about 14 hours and im still a murderer and if i go through with dying more i think im going to lose even another level.

Go out and grind... and hope you can run through the gates without getting you're head cut off.

What about the other two methods? Do they work the waiting and the hunter thing?

The hunter method i believe is for thieves who thief too much and become "wanted" and when a hunter or someone kills them they become "arrested" and they have to pay a fine or something... *not an expert*

The other method is also for wanted thieves... they wait till their wanted level goes down.

Your only choice is to grind it out or die it out....
Yeah, there really is no point in murdering someone... its best to vent your anger on a wall or something.

MURDERER: To get rid of this, you must either kill a ton of mobs, or die aprox 6-8 times PER murder (this is death from players)

you will lose 3x XP and you will lose SP every death untill after you have 0 wanted points.



WANTED: wanted status is for THIEVES only. To become wanted, a thief must accumulate 3,000 Arrange Points (Thief Penalty Points). To remove wanted status, you must either Wait it off (I dont know total time but i've heard its 3 Hrs:banghead: ) OR Let a hunter kill you while you are wearing a thief suit.

umm there is always suicide.. lol

yeah umm well i think grinding is the best way. I spared a murderer one time and that guy told me he is in debt to me ( he was like 5X and scared when i was like 2X). anywayzz he told me grinding is the best way if you dont want to lose anything

u need to die untill ur name turn to white,but at ur left window u will see a skull,its will disappear after few day!!but DUN FORGET TO TAKE OFF UR SUIT OR ANY IMPORTANT IN UR INVENTORY,EVEN GOLD OSO WILL DROPPED AS I KNOW!!!

If you're gonna grind, watch out for people who will follow you in cities...

put all ur gear away in storage and buy 3rd degree iteams. have a friend watch a gate 4 u so u can run out with out being killed or if all gates r full of ppl waiting 2 kill u ( happed 2 me, was talken 2 much sh@t ) ur zerk and run like hell

On a side note, what everybody else said. Die a lot. It's a hell of a lot easier than trying to kill thousands of mobs. just make sure you take your gear off first.

Kill npc thief, it's the fastest way.

LOL you silly duck, you should have bought a 10K hunter flag and gotten some job exp at the same time! Thieves can attack you anyway cause you're red, and if you drop it so what, it's only 10K.

It's not the first time me doing it. And then someone will say teh Force is useless.

-escaping 5-6 rageing lv70's: check (how to spell rage-ing? )
-reaching safe zone (yetis->hotan. not a short trip if being chased): check
-making sure i wont loose any gear of worth: check
-logging off, making that guild lose track of me: check
-find a way to grind down the murderer (Jewro and his npcs): check
-buy some noob gear so i have at least some protection from lv64 npc thieves: check
-buy pots pills ect: check
-getting out of town, hide somewhere with Jewro: check
-hunter card: dam i knew i forgot something important
maybe next time

so if someone attacks him he wont lose his uber clothing. but he needs some protection against thieves. Am i right? cuzz one time a saw a murderer drop sos boots that he was wearing.

one a side note.... yeah i watched the discovery channel too and the M00n is not made of BBQ spare ribs.. man you got my hopes up.. dont talk to me...

It's cheap, and not a biggy if droped. It can endure one npc, maybe even two. I almost died when I got mobed by 5 npc. But the thing is, he wasnt attacked by them. Force FTW! I forogot to take a screenshot. So I cant really explain how it works. But it is the safest and fastest way to get rid of murderer status.

You don't want to lose SoS gear like certain other red-namers on Babel... am I right?
