Nuker - Question

What level/degree do you change from Garment into Amour/Protector ?

I only wore armor for the black robber quests then switched to prot where I've stayed ever since.

I used protector all the way to the middle 5x then switched to armor.
Now I wonder if I should use protector for my 8th degree... or stick with armor.
Armor is great against physical mobs, and for duelling str chars. But when you job, or group pvp/war, you get badly owned by other nukers (one shot or near) and you are slow.

casue im a nuker with full garms atm..
thinkin ahead & thinkin goin with amour...
im lvl 42 btw....
then i will have toO change my full set XD

Nukers generally switch when they’re about to enter the cave, 6x that is. You’ll need armor by then. Of course the other option is protector, which you can wear allot longer, and probably even in the cave.

I'd say 60 and onwards. In your 50s, you can grind on Shades, Sonars, Planars, and Spiders, all of which are magic damage.

i wear protector all since im on the server .. its just perfect for me .. you arent that slow and you still can take a lot of damage ...

Protector is best for pvp, welll at least to hybrid builds who don't usually get one shotted by nukers.
Realistically wearing protector when you nkow you fight physical or magical only monsters is jsut a waste of potions

lvl 52-64 still wearin garms..?

most stuff in the cave does physical damage. Being full str and wearing protector giant power earth ghosts crit me for 2157ish damage. They aggro too so you can have multiples on you. If you are int that can mean a very bad day for you. Yetis (59,60 also do physical). Those crits from a giant can kill.
