Armor vs Protector, opinions?

yesh I'm making a nuker going Pure int (hopefully). Though I know Armor helps a lot when dealing with str based anything...what about protector? I kinda still gives a good boost in defense and also mag def (plus the effects of complete set).

mainly I seen that people say that after robbers or hotan int chars MUST use armor? can protector still deal with that? how about good protector pieces?

majority of nukers i've seen wear protector, very few wear garment
my nukers gonne wear both :)

protector - 10% run speed / 10% mp cost reduction
garment - same as above, but 20%

I'm pure Str, so, when I get 2X..on NS, I'm going full scale, until 5th degree because pure white armor looks..bulky, not my style. The 5 degree garment looks cool, I haven't varified if it's 5 degrees or not >.<

Wear Garment until you're at level 60.

All monsters but yeoha till around level 30 use physical attacks, so, armor or protector in my opinion.

I'm calling bullshit on Shiz's response, sorry Shiz. Garment gives a mana use bonus, a speed bonus and magic defense bonus. It does NOT cause you to level faster.

Please consider that Muijis and Uijis cause physical damage (as do blood devil flowers). If they crit a pure int it hurts, if a giant does it you die.

Running speed=teh fast levelings.

nukers don't need to move much shiz, he's pure int. Just becuase you needed it as a glaiver doesn't mean eveyone else does.

Everyone needs to move. Also, you have to run a lot inbetween grinding areas.

*COUGHGRCOUGHASSEHEMWALK*... I prefer to stay alive easier than run a bit faster.

Fast running speed is the win.

I'd rather be able to switch targets from range and never move. At Ishades there's a 3 flower spawn, when I had it I never had to move, just attack turn attack. I had the same benefit with many other mobs. Nukers were the same way, walking/running is overrated.

seriusly i hardly move when im chain nuking mobs , just lock on mob press skill and 90% of the time you get the teleport bug that will move you in range instanly , if not you walk a few meters boohoo, or use ghostwalk to get in range

and i sp farm on ugijgi and muijgi or how ever you wanna call the big monkey people in protector ,
im ganna switch to full 7 degree armor tho , i was thinking about full sos set , so i get way more phy defence vs glaivers , and still have some mag def boost couse sos armor still has about the same mag defence as a normal protector set ,

as an str, using garm will help u cut down on mp pots. ur already a tank so adding more phys defense isn't all that necessary, u want mag defense against nukers also..... conclusion: stick w/ garm

It's not really a teleport bug. It just doesn't display your movements for X amount of time, and by then you'll have run to the mob.
