Will this work? [A question from a Legit]

Okay, I have started to play isro for like 2 weeks in Azteca. I know I am not old enough to qualify for QQing about bots but I must say botting sux!

I dont know if this work but it's just a silly idea of mine.

Feature: AFK Question.

A random simple math question pops up after the certain of battle time in game, you will get penalty if you ignore or answer it wrong.

Penalty: No Drop From Monster + Exp and SP Exp gained Nerf.

Then it leads to 2 scenarios:

1) If you answer it correctly, you get a slight exp and SP exp boost. However, the question will appear again later, depending on your length of battle hour, the longer your battle hour is, the more frequent it will appear and the more you answer correctly, the more boost you will get. (You can relog to reset the battle time but thte exp boost will be gone)

2) If you ignore or answer it wrong, you will be punished by the penalty.

1st time Wrong Answering: No drop, exp and SP exp nerfed from mobs.

those who answer the question wrongly will get their following question sooner and more frequent. If you keep ignoring or giving a wrong answer, you will get more penalty: Stat nerfed status. The more you answer wrongly, the more your stat will be nerfed.

You cannot relog to remove the status. You can only remove the status by answering the question correctly during battle time.

Then again I realize Joymax will never approve this, since they may lose more income if they chase away all these bots...

It would be way easier just to force the player to enter a 'captcha' every time they town.

Meaning it will take only a second to deal with, won't interrupt the player in combat,pvp etc.

Wrong answer -> DC

Simple as that

as you may have noticed. It only apply to PvE, and it only takes you few seconds to answer a simple question to gain some exp boost.

Nope, will never be implemented + bad idea to have it pop up while in battle. You're partying and your cleric gets a popup? Oops, missed that bless, party wipe.

You're soloing amongst aggro mobs and get the popup. Since you're already using the keyboard, your skills don't cast. You die instead while frantically trying to cast using the mouse and still input within the time period allotted so you don't lose xp.

Sounds great, less filling.

Even if it would get implemented, bots would eventually find a way to bypass it, and game would be more ruined.

you dont need to answer the question immediately, roughly 40 seconds will be given to answer.

It is implemented in another online game I play. The system is used to kick AFK players in game.

Answering could be difficult for those, who do not know English well. And there are lots of them in SRO. Would be better, if instead of a question, you have to rewrite letters and numbers, that are written ( like the previous login system).

But this won't work, because you can go afk while in a party for a lot of reasons ( not just botting):
getting a snack;
going to toilet;
answering the phone and many more reasons to go afk while grinding.

I know, but it is based on battle time. So, if you are not attacking, you wont get any question even you are afk.

You only get to answer the question when you have exceed certain amount of battle time. (consider as when you are attacking mobs and 20s after you have attacked mobs, just like the exp helper)

Anyway, joymax won't agree with your idea. That's why they have GMs - lazy SRO gods, who do not care about mortals.
