Question about phy. & mag. damage and critical %....

I have couple of questions....
What does that % mean next to the critical number in weapon? Is that the % chance that critical dmg will occur?
So, there is physical dmg and magical dmg and I guess the physical dmg is when you just attack without imbue. Then, when is the magical damage of the weapon used for? when it's used with imbue like fire?
Also, what does the (+x%) mean next to the phy. & mag. damage numbers...
Thanks!

Phys damage is the damage with a normal attack and the damage done with a weapon skill. Magic damage is the damage done by imbues, and other force skills.
The (%) next to each stat on an item is the percentage better it is than a basic item of the same level. If it says Critical 8 (25%) this means the base critical for a weapon of that type and level is 5.
