Rogue Question (need help)

Hey all, im starting a rogue character on Aztec. Now i know that rogues use crossbows and daggers, but in terms of beginner, where do i start?
Do i use only crossbows and then at 40ish put some SP into dagger skills? or should i buy a crossbow and a dagger and level them equally?
Also, what would you recommend is a good subclass (if any), and how should i start about that (what i should buy, what skills)

There ain't any difference in jobs anymore , Hunter is equal to Thief (and trader was removed a couple of months ago) .

if i were u, id farm a little bit, rogue is a class that needs marginal farming in comparison to all others, ur on a diff server so i cant help u much in that category

ok thanks, and if im planning to go rogue/cleric, around what level should i start getting cleric skills?

the same lvl u start getting rogue skills. farm about 800k sp and u'll be good up to lvl 101+ u'll have to farm at 100+ but u'll atleast get up there.

if i were u i would global ask ask to join an english speaking union, and tell them that you're currently sp farming and u need somebody to sp farm for you.

once you find a sp farmer 800k will take a good 3 weeks to do. once u have ur 800k, if i were u i would start by asking ur union members to form a 8/8 party and party up to lvl 100 with those people as much as possible.

i farmed 1.7m sp, and went up to 104 with the same party of people over a couple of months. the main thing is in order to be kinda successful easily is you need a friend that is already up there

Another option, if you're not planning to do a lot of farming at low levels, go with crossbow skills, stealth+extension, poison weapon, and get recovery division and bless spell from cleric.
that's all you need for PvE, you can join parties as a lure, and later you can farm and get dagger skills for pvp, and cleric skills for more parties, take this plan if you don't want to stay at lower levels for long.

TL;DR

Dont level daggers till1 105, level crossbow skills + stealth (for forgotten world runs, to get sun items), level cleric's str/int/phy/mag buffs, bless, Rec. Div., healing cycle/orbit.

This way you will be welcome to parties, and will be great solo. All you need to reach 105, then farm at jobcave.

Thanks, and btw do you recommend in having a level gap?
im level 12 and have a 4 gap, which prevents me from getting new armor (im getting hit like 100 each time)
