I've heard a mix. Some say it only goes away if you fail. Others say it has a chance of disappearing when you succeed as well. Either way be prepared to cough up a good amount of $.

Hmmm I just go for +5 only, got about 3b cash to spend on it. Hopefully its enough.
Got Rare not Legend so that saves me like 50% of the money involved

Walk around 107 mobs and you find plenty of turkish noobs who dont pickup them.
Weapons easily sell 15m-25m ea in my server ^^
And if you sell a couple, i just buy a proof stone for 70m.
