reducing the graphics does it effect the memory usage?

reducing the graphics does it effect the memory usage?
cause i use about 500,000 memory for the game
and the fan of the laptop is always at high speed
if i reduced the graphic will that reduce the memory and the fan speed?
i'm i5 processor and 4g ram

Yes, it affects memory usage. The GPU is used for most of the graphics-intensive stuff and the CPU/RAM is used for the rest (non-graphics stuff, minor graphics stuff, etc.).

It's very likely that your i5 CPU and 4ghz RAM are far more than enough to meet SRO's recommended requirements so you shouldn't worry about those aspects of your computer; SRO using 500MB or RAM when you have a max of 4GB isn't much of a problem unless you multitask.

The graphics in the game mostly depends on your GPU/graphics card so why don't you post that information? That's most likely the culprit that's causing your lag as most people end up buying computers with awful GPUs/graphics cards (often integrated such as Intel GMA or low-end graphics cards). If you need help in finding out your GPU/graphics card info, here's one method of finding it:

1. Open the Run prompt (usually Start -> Run or Windows Key + R)
2. Run "dxdiag" without the quotes.
3. Click on the Display tab. The info should be in the Device category box.
