Free SoX Weapons Quests

Where do I get these quests? What do I do? What levels are the SoX?

You are talking about forgotten world , You can get 8d sun , 9d sun , 10d moon , 11d nova A grade .
You get those by collecting a set of 8 different tailsmans for each weapon , oh and you can choose the type of weapon that you want , Look at the ingame help as it has enough info about the Npc and stuff .

in forgotten world you can also do a quest that starts at lvl 35... its a huge quest line but you can indeed get a 42 som (i have one right now...) 52 sos 64 sos 76 sos etc...

Wth, i have only found 9d SoS quest, apart from the talisman collection quests.

U can get the first collection quest(8d) from the merchant guild NPC in Hotan btw.

Cos the first talisman quest gives u 8d Sun. U can get the 8d one at lvl 35, cos Togui Village will give u 8d.

0) Go to General Sonheyon (Jangan) and do "Strange Incidents" quest
1) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) and do the "Any Clues?" quest
2) Go to Merchant Associate Asaman(Hotan) to do the "Finding the Culprits" quest
3) Go to Merchant Associate Asaman(Hotan) to do the "Culprits Discovered" quest
4) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Reason for Kidnapping" quest
5) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Deciphering the Togui Document" quest
6) Go to Exorcist Miaoryeong(Jangan) to do the "Soldier's Coat of Arms" quest
7) Go to Exorcist Miaoryeong(Jangan) to do the "Deliver the Deciphered Document to Ahmok" quest
8) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Destroy Those Dolls!" quest

After this there is another string of quests that reportedly rewards you with a 8d sox, but I think this is a typo and it really gives you a 7d sox:
1) You have to have completed the 6D sox quests above
2) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Take Back the Souls" quest
3) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "To Liberate the Souls" quest
4) Go to Exorcist Miaoryeong(Jangan) to do the "Understanding the Togui Spell" quest
5) Go to Exorcist Miaoryeong(Jangan) to do the "Soul Holder" quest
6) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Toguis on the Rise... Again" quest
7) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Down with the Toguis 1" quest
8) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Down with the Toguis 2" quest
9) Go to Hunter Associate Ahmok(Hotan) to do the "Down with the Toguis 3" quest

yes, isro has all these quests you can do besides the 9d. I've got my 8d SoSun and gotta wait till 71 so I can start the 9d FW quests for a 76 sun.

The quest info on the official website is messed up a little (typical for Joymax). The first quest of the line for 6D SOM weapon, is actually "Strange Incidents", given by General Sonheyon in Jangan. The "Any Clues?" quest comes after that.

I did that first quest accidentantly (accidentantly pressed on the Npc that gives the quest) , was only a delivery quest and i was able to use teleports so i did it . ^_^ .

I've noticed something. I always do 3 runs a day and usually get 1~2 talismans during those runs. However, when I started these quests, talisman drop rate went really low and I haven't seen a treasure box WITH a talisman for few days now. Can it be, that these quests are the reason for that?

No , It is just random luck , you can do 50 runs and get 0 tailsmans and you do 1 fgw run and get 9 tailsmans (but you have to win a lottery first XD ).

Yeah, these SOS quests aren't for me anymore.. :/ I'm 6x so I can't take 51-60 FW.. >.< But I'm glad I already have my SOSUN.. ^.^

Well if u think that is true u can leave the collection quest untaken until u have all the talismans. Maybe even store the talismans and when u have all of them, register them in ur collection book. And then take the quest and finish it.

After filling 6/8 of a collection book at once , The drop rate was the same for me (if not higher) .

Anyway Logically , Why would who ever programmed the forgotten worlds decrease the drop rate when collection book gets filled , does seem worthless effort for me .

I was given 4 of the talismans for one set, but went FGW a couple times and got one. Then I filled up to 6/8 and literally went 40-50 times. I never got the talisman I needed - ended up buying one, but did get 3 other drops that I either sold or put in guild storage. I don't think the drop rate went up or down. The lower dungeons seem to drop more, though. Flame Mountain sux for drops - at least for me.

Nah he has a point. on ksro(vsro too i think) there were quests that give sos just for leveling up. it was there before FGW was even released. You could get them at the herb merchants in Jangan and Constantinople. Stopped at lv 42 I think.

These begginer help quest are in isro too , btw it only gives un-tradeable sos accessories .

nah its different than on isro it gave sos weps. you also had a choice of xp or sp scrolls and accesories.

The beginner quests are different. In ksro when u reached a certain lvl, like lvl 32, u automatically got the quest, then you just had to go and speak with the potion merchant and get it. There were also those exp and 100% speed scrolls at certain lvls and zerk scroll as well IIRC.

Free they are not. You gotta collect some items which are hard.
These are better known as the Forgotten world Talisman quests.

Level 35-69 => Sun 8D
Level 70-89 => Sun 9D
Level 90-100 => Som 10D
Level 101-110=> Legend A 11D (Or Legend B from boss, chance 0.001%)
