Guild emblem question

When you have an existing guild emblem and you want to change it..
Do you have to delete it 1st before adding a new one?
Or you can add it directly..
I'm talking about buying the
Guild emblem deletion item w/c is worth 1Million gold and 20k Guild points
and deleting the existing emblem before buying the
Guild emblem registration item and then so on and so forth..
