somebody was selling me a weapon and they sent me all the weapon stats and info in a message.. Its like i actually was seeing the weapon in a message.. How do you do that???

Ctrl+Click on the item and it will appear in the chat box. Make sure it's not equipped when you link it.

Also not sure if this is true, but apparently if you don't have a premium you can't link items in every chat (I'm not sure because I have one)

if you have a premium you can link it to any chat possible...
for the rest of the poor bastards (like me) we can only use them in private chats or globals

Without Premium you can only link items in Globals and private chat .

@M3K0S : you don't have to be poor to not buy premium , i can afford 5k silk a month but i choose not to buy it ( not yet at least ) .
You can survive without it , lol . i just get a pickup pet and an avatar and thinking of getting an inventory expansion .

Without Premium you can only link items in Globals and private chat .

The 3page inv is worth it. Its usefull if you play solo for very long times, cuz you can bring thousands of pots. In my case as warrior its extremly usefull because i almost never have to town this way and can pickup everything.

Now back to topic, its indeed true
Right Click + CTRL to link in chat
Item must be in inventory.

Premium:
Everywhere avaible

Non Prem:
Global and private only

But you have to return to town to repair your weapon / armor or use repair hammers .

Now back to topic : I am quite sure that ctrl + left click is the one used to link items .

I'm not entirely sure but I think I linked the stats of a stack of pots in the guildchat without prem. I dunno if it works for real items but yeah...
