What are guardians for?

Post by sincool »

What's the use of joining an academy?
I see some accumulated buff thing and it increases every time I kill a monster, what's it for? :?
Thanks In Advance
"Pushing the limits of society's reality
Always moving; ever flowing
Reaching for new heights in order to be free
Kick off walls; never slowing
Opening pathways where others see barriers
Under the rail, off the building
Re-modeling one's paradigm of the world.."

About the buffs - there's "Cumulated Buff" Image and there's "Accumulated Buff" Image. The two have different purpose.

When apprentices in an academy hunt monsters, they gain "Cumulated Buff". Every once in a while, the apprentice can click the Cumulated Buff icon to transfer 20% of the buff to the Guardian. The rest 80% of the buff stays with the apprentice. Note: this can be done only when the Guardian is online and at least one hour after the apprentice began collecting the Cumulated Buff. Once transferred, it turns into "Accumulated Buff" which gives you a 10% bonus exp for each monster that you kill. Ten buff points are taken out per monster.

Though, probably the best use of joining an academy is that you get 2 mil exp upon graduating, which is exactly 50% of level 40.
