Im a pure int s&s, with 1600 HP, do i have a chance at Uri?

mainly a question if i can survive the elites

you dont have to survive till it dies. all you need is to be lucky enough to be the first one who sees it and zerk :p

Unless you get a considerable number of blocks, you will probably/eventually be killed by the spawns. But like Takunya said, just find it first and zerk. And remember to not respawn in town if you die.

So even if i die but have over ½ dmg, then it still gives it to me?

It should, unless you respawn or something bad happens.

My problem is, as you may have seen from my TG pic, is i have only fire imbue, light nuke, fire nuke, and shock lion shout, and 2 are AoE, which isnt good.

Well, the unique monsters are designed to fit a player's level...
Tiger Girl - Level 20
Ureuchi - Level 40
Isyutaru - Level 60
But the downside is that they're designed for pure str player levels.
I'm a pure int character, and I couldn't kill Tiger Girl at 20

, so I doubt I'll be able to kill Ureuchi at 40, but you should be able to at 42, if you get some good attacks in...
A good strategy is to try and lead Ureuchi away from the black robbers and stuff, with something like a ranged attack

.
And then attack him, and only him, with zerk and your best attacks...

wait, so you don't neccesarily have to be the one with the lat hit? nor should you be the one with teh highest damage? only thing you need to do is to find him/her (whichever unique), drain your entire zerk on him/her, then if you die, don't resurrect until someone actually kills him/her, then you get the kill?
i think i saw Ricconl, or someone who using a 5th degree weapon get the isyutareu kill. all he did, apparently was wait until the HP is low enough for his flying dragon to kill isy.
i ask this question coz i chanced upon uri in a black robber area. almost all lvlers there were lvls 38-40 doing jewel quests. they all zerked him then eventually dying. then it was just me and a glaiver. we lured him all the way accross the bridge where all the non aggro robbers were (it was fun) then the glaiver zerk tanked him and i stayed away nuking happily. he died just right before a lvl 52+ came and did all the work from then on. he did zerk though at the beginning and even if others came, he still got the kill.
i'm really having mixed ideas here now... sorry..

^^ no.
all you have to do is deal the majority of the damage on the unique in order to get the kill/drops/gold getting a monster to 1/2 life is, i suppose, a rule of thumb in regular mobs... but when theres 10+ people attacking who is gonna have a chance to do 1/2 the damage.. unless they're way higher lvl. theres always gonna be a bunch of people attacking the unique so you cant expect to get 1/2 the damage on it , just get the most

Isn't there something with share party ? I heard that the party leader gets the kill if the total party damage is the highest.

Far off its more of a group thing i recon besides
i give levels to each 45 Max for tg as then 45+ you can take uri
64 max for Uri as then you can take isy..trust me im living it at the moment

i don't know larvs, im also mixed up as well, yesterday Silvereyed killed TG, i congratulated him, however he said that he died b4 TG got killed... probably the issue of owning a monster, giant, unique etc.. has been changed... so the player who got the biggest damage, owns the monster, unless if its a head hunt....

Very helpful for an int char is a good shield with crit reduce. I figured that 60crit(100%) protect you from EVERY crit a mob does. Haven't been critted for all that time by a mob. And since crits are the most dangerous hits for an int it increases your chance of surviving uri a lot.
