Starting over

Hello, I'm thinking of restarting SRO.

I have a pretty high level nuker, but I don't really want to continue on it since it will level up way too slow. I doubt I will enjoy that.
So I figured I might as well just start over on a brand new server, with nothing.

Now the thing is that I don't want to be screwed when I get a descent level due to my lack of skillpoints, so I'd rather farm it first. I remember that it's way easier to get skillpoints when you're still at a low level.
What would be the fastest way nowadays to do this? Should I make a char first with the sole purpose of powerfarming my actual char later? Like a wizard/bard or something? If yes, what level would that char need to be in order to be good at powerfarming? (at ongs, I suppose)

Or is there a better way to farm with the char itself? Or are there ways to get powerfarmed by others?
If the game has changed, and it is possible to just keep a normal gap and play without any farming, please tell me.

Also if somebody could recommend me a server to start on, that would be nice. Though I guess I will just join the newest server out there.

Join the people in Azteca. That's the newest server and there's a lot of legits there.

Any idea how I should get my char farmed?

I'm farming mine as I go, in parties you get insane xp/sp with a good sized gap.

Later on the plan is to farm in the DW caves, probably 100-200k and then gap a bit to 100. Once at 100, job caves and repeating SP quests fill in the rest.
