Which is a better avatar stat

1% ignore monster defense probability
or
5% damage increase?
Please back your choice with facts and reasons please..
I want to achieve highest damage possible done on monsters since I am farming
for SP atm..
Currently level 68 with a +7SUN bow..
If you have other suggestions feel free to post..
Just please help =)

Obviously its 5% damage increase, but I wouldnt take that, because when you're grinding you'll hope for that 1% armor ignore to happen - its more fun.

5% damage increase. You obviously won't notice it, but in the long run it will help you and would have saved you quite a bit of time.

I chose both on my avy. But for farming only i would take 5% dmg.

I normally choose 1% Ignore like Nitro said about waiting for that big hit to come, it's really the only thing that kept me playing for a long time then I just got sick of the game and had no one in rl to play with anymore.

Grinding suit - 2x 1% monster ignore, 5% dmg inc, attk rating 5% inc (or another 1% monster ignore)
Alchemy suit - 4x lucky
PvP suit - 5% dmg inc, attk rating 5% inc, Str or Int

I don't get it, where do u guys choose the bonus? Is it after u buy u can choose or something?

After you've bought the avatar, you need to go talk to blacksmith in any town and choose "Grant avatar options" (or something like that) and then you can choose 4 different stats to you chest, 2 for hat and 1 for accessory. Some of the stats for chest you can choose many times.

Anyway you can do the math yourself but in general best avatar for grinding / unique.
5% damage 3% ignore.
The 5% damage will increase your 3% def ignore hits a lot more. And 105% damage over 100 hits +3 ignore is better then 100% damage over 100 hits with 4 def ignores. (Def ignore is about 2x higher then normal.)
So 5% damage +3% ignore => 108.15% damage on average
0% damage + 4% ignore => 105.0% damage on average
