Warlock/Bard Question

Post by Sangraal »

Hey, Im going to be playing on Ksro soon (as soon as I get that proxy thing workin) and I plan to be a warlock bard and I had some questions. . .

For Solo Grinding, How do you do it? Ive seen some videos. . .they look awesome but didnt really let me know what is really happening

For Party grinding, What am I supposed to do as warlock? (I know how bards work in pts)

Thanks.

I used to solo by using a DoT then running then using another Dot on another mob and run and so on, also using the odd nuke....

As for Party play I would have thought you'd just use debuffs.

I don't have to much experiance with pting warlocks but they are awesome to solo with, as they get zerk so fast.

Ahh ok, do you need to cast anything else on a mob? or just use a DoT?

What do you do when in Zerk mode?

Well what I did was, if I was soloing at mobs 1-3 levels lower than me I would just use one DoT on each mob, But maybe if grinding at mobs of the same level, or higher maybe debuff + dot.

In zerk Just 1 dot each mob.

There are probably better ways but this is from my personal experience.

Don't forget the giants. They should get debuffs too. And i'd rather debuff only pt champions and pt giants. Regular pt monsters usually die very fast. Of course it depends quite a bit on the killing speed of the pt. If the normal pt monsters die fast anyway, they won't need debuffs. If they don't die that fast, you should probably use some debuffs on them too. But then again, you couldn't use that many DoTs, which means the zerk regeneration ratio will be lower.

its common sense that if they would debuff pt champs (maybe pt mobs), they should also debuff gigs :)
