how do the forts benefit the server?

Are the forts just collecting taxes for themselves? Seems like that's what's happening. I'm glad there's no taxes on Maya yet...

Besides the taxes it's a little bi weekly event for high levels so they wont get bored.

Fort is for fun. Taxes are a little extra gold
. Too bad the taxes almost dont get anything cuz there arent any goldbots in Jangan and Hotan

It would be interesting if whoever controlled the fort could somehow benefit the whole server. Maybe use the gold to sponsor random events or something. Would be epic.

they could take all the money collected from the taxes and have a weekly lottery, just the regular pick 5/6 numbers and winner gets all kinda of a thing.
im not sure how much gold the taxes collect so maybe giving it all to one person would be unfair, you could maybe give it to his guild. idk im just rambling =p
