I've never lost anything but xp when I died, does the chance of losing items only start to participate from a certain level? (I'm level 11)

*EDIT* I've come up with another question while playing.
I'm doing the quest where you have to collect 20 bandit operational maps from archers. So far I've killed almost 30 archers and not one of them dropped a map. Is there a certain area where you have to go to to get drops?

Wouldn't know, I've never lost an item from death yet.

As for your second question, the drop rate on those things is REALLY bad. Almost as bad as horseshoes. Just keep going at them.

Oh, and make sure you're killing archers and not bowmen.

lol, i did it killing bowmen. (Bowmen r the grey one's right?)

I think you can drop stuff, from lvl 5, because from lvl 5 you start losing exp when you die. I lost some items until now.

Its not about how high your level is, more about how low your % into the level you are as you will find you loose items if you loose enough xp to de-level. If you de-level you loose 1 (any) random item from your inventory

BTW, does this mean that I won't lose anything if I don't delevel? Or does that chance exist?

I did'nt delvl. I had murder status and got pwned and i dropped an item.

erm, de leveled from 19 > 16, had 3 gold in inventry, never dropped...

You can drop stuff at any lvl, just the chance is like 5% Also you can'tdrop gold as much as i know

I think that if you have a murderer status, your chance to drop something increases. This is just a guess though =)

If you have murderer status (red) you WILL drop something.

Yes you can lose items although it's a very small chance. I've lost my Vigor herbs at level 8 ^^ lol.

Bowmen are not the same as Archers. You have to kill the Bandit Archers to get maps. At a later quest you will have to kill 200 Bandit Bowmen (not archers).

I've heard different people who got their maps from bowmen though.

yea i spent like 3 hrs doing dat operational map quest but kinda worthit alot exp

I purposely delevel (the biggest is 18 to 16) and I've never dropped an equipped item nor gold... although items in inventory will be dropped from time to time (scrolls, arrows, etc).

i think they are the one and same actually. i just passed that quest killing a bunch of bowmen,

CAN, not will. Just an FYI. the % to drop is increased, but not to 100%.
