what stones do i use on staff?

I'm enhancing my staff with lots of stones

first question what stones is good for staff?
second is the reset stones for example that reset the magical enforcement or critical is it good or bad to use it? cause i tried one and it decreased the stats of the weapon??!!

Philosophy for mag attack
Focus for white attack rate
Meditation for mag reinforce
Str for str
Int for int
Strikes for blue attack rate
Master for blue dura
Discipline for blue block ratio

Using a stone gives you one of these 4:
The stone fails
The stone succeeds but stat stays the same (like: str 2 -> str 2)
The stone succeeds and the stat goes up (like: str 2 -> str 5)
The stone succeeds and the stat goes down (like: str 2 -> str 1)

Also when you use a stone and it succeeds there is a chance you will change another stat on your item, this is called assimilation. Every stone has a % on it (being either 0-5-10-20-30-35%), the higher this % the higher the chance of assimilation when using that stone. 0% stones don't give an assimilation chance, thats why they are often more expensive.

Using a stone with lower % is better in theory cuz they have a lower chance of assimilating.

Lets say you're trying to change the str on your item. You use a str stone and it succeeds, it changes you str from 2 to 4 but you assimilated your mag damage with it from 22% to 0%.

Assimilating is basically changing a 2nd stat with one stone, so changing the mag attack while you use a str stone. Or you try to change your white attack ratio and it changes your int with it.
