actually i know what blocking ratio means

but what i dont know

Blocking ratio 35 (+56%)

what 35 means and what the +56% means

It's a blue on your shield if im rite. It lowers the chance of critical hits of your opponent but I'm not sure.

The 35 is the blocking ratio, and just like other blues, the 56% is how much percent to max it is. IDK what the highest ratio is but if you had it, it would say 100% I believe.

You know, like on gear it may say Str +5 (+60%) or something.

No, that's wrong. It's a blue on the weapon and it decreases the enemies probability to block your hits with a shield.

That blue on the shield was Critical. And it works as you already explained.
