Hi, I'm now level 25 and I seen on a site that there's a quest from the sunset witch that gives 126000xp,

but when i go to the witch, i only have 2 quests to choose, first is capturing simos ladon 4 and Cerberus 3

since i'm def. not ready for cerberus 3, i wanna do the simos ladon one.

the witch gives me the wind pouch, i go to the fortress of dusk, use the wind pouch on the simos, but the simos always dies like 10 or 15 seconds later, and no one is attacking it.

soo..... am i doing something wrong???

What build are you? Does it have status effects on it? Are you using dots?

warrior dual axe, no status effects. not sure to know what dots are, but pretty sure i don't use any

Avoid the forest of dusk because there are a lot of bots there and they might have already killed the monster before you think you caught it.

Try the bridge closest to constantinople. There are simos ladon spawns there too, and less running for you.

that's where i go. first bridge on the left, that leads to forest of dusk and they fkin diiiie

Dots? Maybe Pots? Potions regain your MP and HP. Pots does not effect the quest, I used them that moment. I have Bard as subclass, fast running facility. If you don't have à subclass, you can try that.
When your ready for Cerberus 3: make posting, I didn't perform the quest till now, all other Constantinople quests finished.
Near the big tree with golden apples you find a lot of Simos Laden and no bot's.

He meant dots not pots. Dots are warlock debuffs("damage over time").

i went on joymax forums and alot of people are having this problem right now. with dow genemas too etc etc.

apparently it's a bug from joymax! hope it gets fix soon

Yeah I tried the Dow quest like 10 times. The first time I almost got there and "Monster has died blah blah." On the Simos Ladon I can't even get out of the forest without it dying. Apparently you don't HAVE to do them it seems, because the next quest always opens up. At least the Lion will go in your inventory or so the quest description says. So maybe that one is actually doable.
